Location & Service info

Our church family gathers for worship and fellowship at 9am (Central Time) on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of every month. Our services follow Rite II of the Episcopal Church’s Book of Common Prayer, and use contemporary language. You can expect readings from the Holy Scriptures; preaching centered on the good news of redemption in Christ; hymns and prayers; and, except on the 4th Sunday of the month (when we gather for Morning Prayer), a celebration of Holy Communion, in which we remember Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. After the service, all are invited to stay for light refreshments and conversation.

St. James’ Episcopal Church is conveniently located at the corner of North Main Street & 8th Street East in Mobridge. The building is easily recognized by its distinctive red door, and can also be found on Google Maps.
